::Good sushi. Gluten free options (and tamari sauce).

::Etika Sushi does offer some good fresh fish; however, the taste of their sushi is totally destroyed by heavily overdone rice and unbalanced seasonings. The taste is overwhelmingly, shockingly bad – it feels that you eat rice porridge with seafood pretending to look like sushi. To compensate, they use a lot of mayo and sauces in the rolls, which makes them totally non-edible. If you have to choose between an empty stomach in the evening and a dinner at Etika Sushi – pick the empty stomach.

::Not recommended! They murder thousands and thousands of whales and dolphins. The whale meat is so contaminated that the health department warns against eating it. The feed their whale meat to unsuspecting visitors passing it off as something else. I strongly think people should not vacation here

::You’re in the Faroe Islands and have a hankering for sushi? You really don’t have a lot of options but this place is good. The local fish is limited in variety but excellent in quality. It’s no Japanese high end sushi/sashimi but if you go there not expecting that you’ll do just fine and have a solid meal.

::As an Asian who has had very good sushi in Japan many times in my life, I can say that the standard of fish being served here is excellent. Salmon and scallops are very fresh. Wasabi is fresh instead of preserved. The rice is less than perfect compared to top tier Japanese restaurants, and the rolls are slightly loose. But they are not deal breakers and does not affect the taste at all. All in all way better than my expectations and I would highly recommend this place. If coming on a Friday night, remember to make reservations (we couldn't get a space the first time).
